Blended to perfection this pre-workout smoothie is just the boost your body needs to jumpstart any workout.  Inspired by Simple Green Smoothies, this recipe is quick, packed with tons of nutrients and all around, a total game changer. This pre-workout smoothie gives you:

  • Higher energy levels for a better workout
  • An easy-to-digest meal that will stabilize blood sugar levels (fiber!) with no heartburn or indigestion
  • Plenty of nutrients that help maximize your body’s performance
  • Lots of hydration from the WANU, fruits, and greens

Pre-Workout Green Smoothie Yields: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 cup kiwi cucumber WANU
  • 1 large apple, cored
  • 1 banana
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: Add choice of protein powder for added boost!

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth (Tip: use frozen fruit to make smoothie cold)
